Collaboration, Co-operation and Liaison

Clare Suicide Bereavement Support Outreach

Clare Suicide Bereavement Support has a policy of collaboration, co-operation and liaison with other voluntary and statutory bodies working in suicide prevention, suicide bereavement support and the promotion of positive mental health. Clare Suicide Bereavement Support collaborates with other groups, organisations and agencies within the community.

Outreach Includes

Liaising with similar support groups locally, nationally and internationally.

Clare Suicide Bereavement Support has collaborated with National Office for Suicide Prevention (NOSP) on Connecting for Life, Ireland’s national strategy to reduce suicide 2015-2020. Connecting for Life sets out a vision of an Ireland where fewer lives are lost through suicide, and where communities and individuals are empowered to improve their mental health and wellbeing. CSBS have also actively collaborated with Connecting for Life Mid West Suicide Prevention Action Plan 2017-2020, which sets out specific local actions to deliver the 7 goals of the National Strategy, within the context of HSE Mid West Community Healthcare service, falling under Mental Health. (Limerick, Clare and North Tipperary).
